*GO AND WASH IN JORDAN SEVEN TIMES*

SCRIPTURE: And Elisha sent a Messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be Clean - *2 Kings 5:10*


The Captain of the Syrian Army named Naaman was a leper. He was introduced to Elisha the Prophet, for the cleansing of his leprosy. He came to Elisha, and he sent his Servant to Namaan to go and wash in Jordan seven times.


We can recall that our Lord Jesus Christ put forth his hand to touch a leper and he was cleansed - *Matthew 8:1-3*


God touched a leper once and he was Cleansed. But for Naaman, He asked him to wash in Jordan seven times to be Cleansed. 


*The Lord is teaching us that it is not in all cases that our first attempt will be successful, we may need to make several attempts before we succeed.*


*Therefore, failing at something should not make us give up on our goals, rather it should help us to begin again more intelligently.*


*In all our endeavors in Life, giving up is not an option, because the end has been settled by God even before we begin* - *Isaiah 46:10*


And He told us that only those who endured to the end that shall be saved - *Matthew 10:22*


Moses climbed Mount Sinai to the end and got the ten commandments - *Exodus 31:18*


Elijah climbed Mount Carmel to the end and called down Fire - *2 Kings 1:9-10*


Three of the Disciples Peter, James and John climbed the Mountain of Transfiguration and saw the Glory of God - *Matthew 17:1-2*

Father, Please empower me to be Persistent and to succeed in all areas of my Life.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father.
