THERE SHALL BE A PERFORMANCE

 SEED OF TRANSFORMATION DAILY DEVOTIONAL 

                                        


*THERE SHALL BE A PERFORMANCE*

SCRIPTURE: And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a Performance of those things which were told her from the Lord - *Luke 1:45*


God is not a Man that He should lie. Whenever He speaks, it is done - *Psalms 33:8-9*


*It should be noted that between the time He speaks and the Performance of what He says, there will be at least four Groups of People.*


These were apparent when Jesus was crucified and buried. 


The Priests and the Pharisees came to Pilate to say we remember that Jesus, while he was alive, said after three days He will rise again - *Matthew 27:62-63*


They sought for Permission to send Soldiers to watch Jesus' Sepulchre so that His Disciples will not steal His Body. 


Also, observe that the day He Promise to rise again, certain women came with Embalming Spices.


*These four groups are:*


*(1)* The First Group are those who will abandon what He says. 


The Disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, all abandoned Him.


*This Group did not believe what He said and abandoned Him.*


*(2)* The Priests and the Pharisees.


*They worked against what He said, so that it would not come to Pass.*


*(3)* Certain Women.


These women did not believe, otherwise they wouldn't have come to the Grave on the Resurrection Morning with Embalming Spices. 


*They Preferred to Preserve realities, to believing the Performance of what His said.*


*(4)* God 


God has the Power to bring His Word to Pass. 


On the Third Day, He sent forth an Earthquake and an Angel descended to roll back the stone that covered the Sepulchre. The lightning brought by the Angel caused the Soldiers watching the Sepulchre to faint.


The Angel announced to the women that Jesus had risen.


*Conclusively, in spite of those who abandoned,  those who worked against and those who did not believe what He said, there was a Performance of what He had said.*


*Our Anchor Text says - Blessed is she that believed, for there shall be a Performance of what came from the Lord.*


*We must labour to enter rest, by believing His Words and trusting that there shall be a Performance.*


*Prayer:* 

Father, grant me Grace to believe all You have said for there shall be a Performance.
