*DIVINE RESTORATION*

SCRIPTURE: And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you -

*Joel 2:25*


*What Is Restoration?*

*(1)* The return of someone or something to a former condition, Place or Position. 


This means a return to the Original condition, Place or Position.


When the leprosy of Naaman was cleansed; the Bible says, his flesh came again like that of a little child - *2 Kings 5:14*


*(2)* Renewal of something that is gradually diminishing. 


The Bible says, Moses was 120 years when he died. His eye was not dim nor his Natural force abated - *Deuteronomy 34:7*


Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy Moon withdraw itself: - *Isaiah 60:20*


*From the Anchor Text, there are certain Truths revealed about Divine Restoration:*


*(1)* Restoration is the Will of God for you. 


It is not the Will of God that you keep groaning under the Pain of losses. 


Jesus said to one of the seven Churches, but that which ye have already hold fast till I come - *Revelation 2:25*


It is not the Will of God that anything about us will diminish. 


It is not in your Redemption Package that you become an Ex- champion - *Proverbs 4:18*


The Bible says, there are many devices in a Man's heart, nevertheless the Counsel of the Lord, that shall Stand - *Proverbs 19:21*


The Bible says, the Counsel of the Lord stands forever - *Psalms 33:11*


*(2)* Restoration is not the same as Recovery. 


*Recovery:* David ypursued and overtook and recovered all - *1 Samuel 30:1-18*


In our Anchor Text, God said I will restore.


*Recovery is a Product of Labour while Restoration is a Product of Favour.*


*(3)* Nothing is too lost to be restored. Nothing is beyond Restoration.


If God can restore very dry bones that were scattered in the Valley and made them an Exceeding Great Army - *Ezekiel 37:1-11,* then nothing is too scattered to be gathered by the Lord. 


The Bible says, with God Nothing shall be impossible - *Luke 1:37, Matthew 19:26*


*(4)* God knows what to do to bring about Restoration. He is an All-knowing God - *Psalms 139:4, 1 John 3:20*


The Bible says, Jesus spoke to Prove His Disciples, for He Himself knew what He would do - *John 6:6*


When Naaman came to Elisha, he knew what God will do to Cleanse him of his Leprosy. He told him to go and wash in the Jordan seven times - *2 Kings 5:10*


When the axe head fell into the water, they cut a stick and put it and the iron did swim - *2 Kings 6:5-6*


*(a)* He knows what to do to restore Health unto you. 


All Physical, Mental, Memory Losses are recoverable - *Jeremiah 30:17*


*(b)* He knows what to do to restore your broken down Marriage - *Genesis 20:1-14*


*(b)* He knows what to do to restore your Financial Losses and Investments.


The Bible says, every Man's Money was restored - *Genesis 42:25*


*(c)* He knows what to do to  restore you to your former Position. 


*(d)* He knows what to do restore your lost inheritance - *2 Samuel 9:7*


*(e)* He knows what to do, to rekindle the Fire of Revival in your Life.


*(5)* Divine Restoration is amazing, astonishing. 


When God brings about Restoration, everyone will marvel and say this the Lord's doing and is marvellous in our sight - *Psalms 118:23, Psalms 126:1-3, Job 42:10, Daniel 4:36*


Prayer

*Father, Please restore all my Losses and cause my Joy to be Full.*
