*REMOVE THE ASHES ON THE ALTAR*

SCRIPTURE: And the Priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the Altar, and he shall put them beside the Altar - *Leviticus 6:10*


It is Common Knowledge that ashes reduces the glow of fire. If the ashes are much, they can put out the fire. 


Therefore, to keep the fire burning, ashes must be removed regularly. 


God demands in our anchor Text above, that Priests should remove the ashes from the Altar. 


This is essential for a fresh fire. 


*The ashes remind us of the Previous fire, this stands for Past Successes, Glory, even Failures, disappointments etc.*


*Ashes need to be removed for the following reasons:*


*(1)* Except yesterday dies, it will not give birth to today. No one puts a New Wine into  old bottles - *Matthew 9:17*


*(2)* No one moves forward focusing on the rear mirror - *Isaiah 43:18-19*


*(3)* If the Pain of yesterday is not forgotten, it will Stand against the gains of today.


*(4)* The Anointing of yesterday was Good only for yesterday, but not relevant today.


Lord's Mercies are New every Morning - *Lamentation 3:22-23*


*(5)* Ashes not removed will take the Place of wood for Fresh Fire.


Apostle Paul who knew the importance of removing the ashes said this one thing I do, forgetting those things that are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before - *Philippians 3:13*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please remove everything quenching Your Fire in my Life, in Jesus Name - Amen.
