*ATTRACTING THE RIGHT PEOPLE*

SCRIPTURE: So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually” - *2 Samuel 9:7*


Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan was relocated from Leodobar to the Palace and King David told him, 'you will eat bread at my table continually and the land of Saul your father shall be restored unto you' - *2 Samuel 9:7*


*Life is meaningful and Purposeful when we walk with the right People.*


The Psalmist said walking with the right People makes one highly resourceful, Productive and Impactful - *Psalms 1:1,3*


*What do we do to attract the right People?*


*(1)* Staying in the right location.


Your location determines who locates you.


When Mephibosheth was in Leodobar, a Place of no importance, only unimportant men were attracted to him. No personality was identified with him in Leodobar because unimportant men were attracted to him. But, when he relocated to the Palace, names like David and Ziba were identified with him.


*(2)* Right attitude is essential to attracting the right People.


Right attitude is attractive while Negative attitude is repulsive.


Mephibosheth was  humble and had the fear of God.


*(3)* Right Identity.


*Who you are determines who you attract, because birds of the same feather flock together.*


Mephibosheth was a Prince and his life attracted Kings.


*(4)* Right direction.


Who you meet in Life is determined by where you are going.


If a man is going nowhere, he does not need anyone to guide, help or encourage him.


*(5)* Right responses to situations and circumstances.


Mephibosheth would have died in Leodobar if he had not responded rightly to the call of the King. 


His right response opened the door for the right people.


No man is created as an Island. 


The Bible says: It is not good that a man should be alone - *Genesis 2:18*


*We need men and we must Position ourselves to command the right men to us.*


*Prayer:* 

Father, Please help me to Pay the Price of attracting the right quality of men.
