*GOD IS FOR THE LESS PRIVILEGED*

SCRIPTURE: For the oppression of the poor, Or the sighing of the Needy, Now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him - *Psalms 12:5*


Our Society shows a lot of disdain for the less Privileged, they take delight in oppressing the poor and the Needy.


David was walking on the rooftop of his house on one fateful day and saw a married woman bathing. He sent for her and slept with her, despising whatever the husband will do. The woman later sent to the King David that she was Pregnant. In order to cover up his sin, King David used his advantageous Position to orchestrate the death of her husband. 


When her husband died, king David took the woman as a wife. Both the woman and her husband were poor because they had no Power to fight their injustice.

But, God arose for them and dealt with king David. The house of David still suffers the Punishment till date - *2 Samuel 11- 2 Samuel 12:16*


Our Anchor Bible Text tells us that the oppression of the poor and the Needy will not go unpunished. They have no Power to fight their injustice, but the Lord who made them will arise and fight for them. 


*Therefore, we should know that in all our dealings with the less Privileged, we should know that God is on their side.*


The Bible says, whoever oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker - *Proverbs 14:31*


*The Question is who will reproach God and go unpunished?*


*Therefore, Wisdom demands that we should help the less Privileged rather than taking advantage of them.*


*Prayer:*

Father, in any way I have oppressed the less Privileged, Please have Mercy on me.
