*OFFERINGS WITHOUT FIRE*

SCRIPTURE: And the fire upon the Altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the Priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the Peace Offerings - *Leviticus 6:12*


The Lord commands that fire on the Altar must never go out. 


Every offering on the Altar must be burnt because only burnt Offerings are acceptable to God. 


This teaches us that Offerings without fire is unacceptable to God.


*Let us therefore take a look at Offerings without fire:*


*1)* Religion without God.


God is a Consuming fire - *Hebrews 12:29*


Praying, Singing, Clapping and dancing when God is not involved is unacceptable.


*(2)* Building for God when you are living in sin, is making an Offering without fire. 


Sin puts God far away - *Isaiah 59:1-2*


*(3)* Serving God when you neither cold nor hot.


Lukewarmness in our activities are unacceptable - *Revelation 3:15-16*


*(4)* Working for God when you are worldly, makes for an unacceptable Offering. 


Friendship with the world is  Enemity with God - *1 John 4:4*


*(5)* When your activities are done without the first love. 


Whatever we do when we have lost the initial love for God is unacceptable - *Revelation 2:4*


The Bible says, whatever our hands find to do we should do with all our Might - *Ecclesiastes 9:10*


*An Offering without fire is a waste of time and resources because is unacceptable to God  and will not be rewarded.*


*Hence, fire must not go out of our Altar.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please let my Life and  my Offerings arise as an Acceptable Sacrifice to You.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father.
