"Guard your heart with all diligence" since "from it come the issues of life." Says the wisest king of Israel.
 
Information is powerful. It goes in and forms you. People have been bombarded with information about what is going on among young people. Especially the bad vibes.
 
Many people have experienced an emotional rollercoaster as a result of this information. Panic has taken over many parents' minds, resulting in a wide range of emotions. Parents are becoming more reactive toward their children. Many parents are blaming their children for sins that have not crossed their minds.
 
Some had unexpectedly taken on the role of detective in place of a watchdog. Some parents even confiscate their children's electronic devices for no apparent reason.
Unfortunately, these emotions are the result of fear, which has been fueled by so much unhealthy information people have consumed in recent days.
 
Information is really powerful. It does not leave us in the same manner. The outcome can be positive or negative. That is why you must seize control of your heart's gate. Every piece of information has a what, how, and why. All of these factors influence how information is disseminated and the impact it has on people.
 
You may not be able to prevent individuals from creating such information, but you are responsible for your own mental health. If you feed on negativity, your mind will become clouded with negativity, and you will soon find yourself reacting to it and exhibiting negative emotions.
 
Focus your thoughts on God's word; for every misbehaving adolescent, there are hundreds more who are well-behaved. That should be your primary focus and point of instruction at this time.
 
Depression is real, but it is your responsibility to maintain your mental health. Whatever comes into your mind will manifest in your life. Take charge of your heart.
