*THERE'S ALWAYS A REMNANT.*

                                          

 
I spent a weekend at a teen boot camp put up by a beloved covenant sister last year. I felt ecstatic in my soul as I watched young people pray passionately throughout the prayer session. As a result, the phrase came to me. There is usually a remnant.
 
After Elijah's conquest of Mount Carmel, Jezebel threatened his life, so he fled and requested the Lord to take him away.
When the Lord inquired as to what he was doing, sitting beneath the tree where he lay, he told the Lord how passionately he had served, how many people had broken covenant with God, converted to worship Baal, slaughtered all the prophets of God, and how he was the only true prophet of God left, even at that time, yet they were attempting to assassinate him.
 
Don't be deceived, God said. I still have seven thousand who haven't fallen at Baal's feet.
I've come to tell you this evening, parents: don't buy into the fantasy; don't buy into the illusion. sure! There's a lot going on among young people, but there's one who has never bowed and will never bow to Baal.
 
The Devil, on the other hand, is skilled at making noise. Whatever he does becomes popular and goes viral, yet when good things happen, they are trivialized. People minimize it.
They even go so far as to imply that it's staged. That is the story the devil wishes to sell to all of us. He won, once we believed it.
 
Don't be duped by the enemy, and don't believe his lies; there will always be a remnant. As a result, there is no need to be concerned. Simply follow the parenting principles and procedures, and you will achieve the intended result.
Don't buy into those lies; there's always a remnant.
