*WHEN HE VISITS*

SCRIPTURE:  And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken - *Genesis 21:1*


God visits on Purpose. He is too busy to visit without a Purpose. 


In the Text above, He visited Sarah. 


This assures us that He can visit anyone, including you, since He is no respecter of Persons - *Acts 10:34*


*Let us discuss what He did when He visited her:*


*(1)* He did as He had spoken.


When God visits, whatever He has spoken will come to pass. Promises He had made Himself or through His Prophets will be fully fulfilled - *Psalms 33:8-9*


*(2)* Impossibilities will give way.


Sarah conceived at old age conceived. 


Scientifically, it was impossible to conceive because she had entered into Menopause. 


When the Lord visits, everything impossible for man will be made Possible - *Matthew 19:26, Genesis 18:14*


*(3)* Reproaches are rolled away - *Genesis 30:23*


Sarah was barren before she met the Lord and about twenty five years after she met with God, she was still barren.


*Obviously, those twenty five years were years of great reproach. But when the Lord visited, the reproach was taken away.*


*(4)* Her mouth was enlarged over her enemies - *1 Samuel 2:1*


Before the visitation, her enemies opened their mouths against her but after the visitation, it was her turn to speak. The mouths of all her enemies were shut - *Psalms 8:2*


*(5)* The Lord made her to laugh - *Genesis 21:4*


*It does not matter how many have laughed at you, when the Lord visits, your turn to laugh has come and men will laugh with you.*


*How did she attract Divine Visitation?*


*(1)* She ceased to play games with God - *Genesis 17:1*


*(2)* She lived by Faith - *Hebrews 11:11*


*3)*  She was Hospitable - *Genesis 18:1-7, Hebrews 13:2*


*(4)* She stayed under Authority - *1 Peter 3:6*


*(5)* She was Strong in the Lord - *Hebrews 11:11*


*Divine Visitation is desirable for a Change of Story and for a New Song.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please visit me and my family and Change my Story for Good in Jesus Name.
