*AN EVIL SPIRIT FROM THE LORD (Part 2)*

SCRIPTURE: But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing Spirit from the Lord troubled him - *1 Samuel 16:14*


*There are many Lessons to learn from this Scripture.* 


Yesterday, we learnt that an Evil Spirit Proceeds from the devil, but can be Permitted to operate by God because He is the Lord of Hosts.


*Today, our Study centers on the fact that there is no Vacuum in Nature.*


*If a man is not being influenced by the Spirit of God, he will come under the influence of an Evil Spirit.*


Immediately the Spirit of God departed from Saul, an Evil Spirit began to trouble him. 


There is no Neutral Spirit. 


When the Spirit of God came upon Saul, he began to Prophesy that People wondered and asked if Saul was also among the the Prophets? - *1 Samuel 10:11*


The Spirit of God made him another Man - *1 Samuel 10:6*


When Saul was under the influence of the Spirit of God, he was doing Good.


The Bible says, how God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazarite with Holy Ghost and with Fire who went out doing Good - *Acts 10:38*


*God through His Spirit inspires a man to do Good.*


But when the Evil Spirit came on him, he began to do Evil. 


He was so Possessed of Evil that he wanted to kill David; he threw a Javelin at him on two occasions. 


*Therefore, we should take heed not to grieve the Holy Spirit in our lives because once He is grieved; He is quenched and an Evil Spirit will take over.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me not to grieve Your Holy Spirit in my Life.
