*HEARKEN UNTO ISRAEL YOUR FATHER*

SCRIPTURE: “Gather together and hear, you sons of Jacob, And listen to Israel your father -

*Genesis 49:2*


*This Scripture is quite interesting, it says gather yourselves ye sons of Jacob and hearken to Israel your father.*


*Jacob and Israel are the names of the same Person, but different dispensations.*


Jacob means a cheat, a Deceiver, a Supplanter, while Israel means, a Prince that has Power with God and with men and has Prevailed - *Genesis 32:28*


*Our Anchor Text says, gather yourselves ye sons of a Deceiver and hearken unto Israel your father - That is, hearken unto your transformed father, your father that has Power with God and with men.*


*Whatever comes out of the mouth of one who has Power with God and men can define your future.*


Everything Jacob said to his twelve sons, came to Pass with no exception, because he had Power with God.


*Therefore, a seemingly "Ordinary Prayer" of 'God Bless You', from a man who has Power with God, can turn around the course of your Life for Good.*


Jacob told Gad a troop will overcome you but you will overcome at last - *Genesis 49:15*


The mad man of Gadara suffered untold hardship in life but overcame at last.


*May we all always Position ourselves to receive the Blessing from men who have Power with God.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to receive the Blessing from men who have Power with God and with men.
