*SUSTAINING YOUR IMPACT (Part 3)*

SCRIPTURE: They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon - *Nehemiah 4:17*


In the Previous studies we have understood that working with one hand and holding a weapon with the other, is the secret to Sustainable Impact. 


*Today, we will look at the Life of Joseph, a man who worked with one hand and held a weapon with the other.*


At the age of seventeen, Joseph had two Dreams of Greatness and shared them with his brothers.


His brothers hated him for his Dreams and Plotted against him. Joseph could have become bitter, but was not.


He was in Potiphar's house, when Potiphar's wife wanted him to lie with her but he didn't consent - *Genesis 39:9*


Potiphar's wife lied against him and he was put in Prison. He should have been discouraged and frustrated at the turn of events but was busy serving God and Humanity.


*Let us now consider the Blessings of his Actions:*


*(1)* The Presence of God was with him - *Acts 7:9*


*(2)* He was consistently Good and Impactful. 


*(3) )* He remained focused - The Negative dispositions of men towards him didn't distract his attention from his Dreams.


*(4)* He was Promoted from the Prison to be the Prime Minister. 


*(5)* He enjoyed his Promotion till the day of his death.


*(6)* He got the Birthright Reuben lost - *Hebrews 11:21*


*(7)* After his death, his bones were exhumed and taken to the Promised Land - *Hebrews 11:22*


*Joseph worked with one hand and held the weapon of Love, Righteousness, Fear of God, Prayer etc and he was able to end Well and Strong.


*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to arm myself with Love, Righteousness, Fear of God and Prayer so that I will end Well and Strong.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
