     *CEASE FROM ANGER*

SCRIPTURE: Cease from Anger, and forsake wrath: Fret not thyself in any wise to do evil - *Psalm 37:8*


This Psalm was by David, a man after God's heart, who fulfilled all His Will - *Acts 13:22*


He was highlighting the Secrets of his Relationship with God.


He is admonishing us to trust and delight ourselves in God. 


He then advised us to cease from anger.


His admonition is based on the fact that Anger is just a Letter short of danger.


With Anger we are faced with the danger of not entering our Promised Land as it was in the case of Moses - *Number 20:10-12*


Elisha had the Double Portion of the Spirit upon Elijah and he lost it through Anger. It took the Ministration of the Minstrel for the Spirit to return - *2 Kings 3:13-15*


Simeon and Levi were cursed because of their Anger - *Genesis 49:5-7*


*An angry Man and a Man who says there is no God are in the same class.*


The Bible says Anger rests in the bosom of fools and a fool has said in his heart there is no God - *Ecclesiastes 7:9, Psalms 14:1*


*Therefore,  to continually enjoy the Presence of the Holy Spirit in our walk with God, we must cease from Anger.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please as I step into a New week empower me to cease from Anger.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father.
