         *FIRE AND VIPER*

SCRIPTURE: Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god - *Acts 28:6*


The scene that took Place at Melita Island while Paul the Apostle was gathering sticks to keep the fire burning, reveals to us that no matter how venomous a beast may be a burning fire will incapacitate it.


A venomous viper hanged on the hand of Paul, but they were amazed to see that no harm befell him.


*This shows that fire is the antidote to a viper.*


*Fire will reveal its activities, neutralise it's Poison and burn it.*


*As long as your fire is burning, you can't be a Victim in the afflictions of Life.*


The Bible says, many are the afflictions of the Righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps his bones and no one is broken - *Psalms 34:19-20*


Jesus said these Signs shall follow them that believe they shall take up serpents; if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them - *Mark 16:18*

 

*Therefore,  the evils of our days should not be our Major concern, our concern should be lack of fire in our lives.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please baptise me with fire that reveals all evils around me and bring me out of them unhurt.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father.
