*WHEN GOD IS WITH YOU*

SCRIPTURE: Go ye therefore, and teach all Nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost - *Matthew 28:19*


Following the discussion yesterday on the Covenant of His Presence, we need to discuss the blessings of His Presence and our Responsibilities.


*It is essential for us to stress that God's Presence is the Best, and the Greatest asset of a Believer.*


*Let us examine the Blessings of His Presence:*


*(1)* When the Lord is with you, the Heaven over you is opened.


When the Lord introduced Himself to Jacob and said to him, 'I am with you,' the Heaven over him was opened with the Angels descending and ascending.


Jacob had a direct Connection with Heaven - *Genesis 28:17*


*(2)* When God is with you, He will keep you in all your Ways - *Genesis 28:15, Psalms 91:11*


*(3)* When the Lord is with you, the Resources of Heaven and the Earth are at your disposal - *Psalms 24:1, John 14:13*


*(4)* When the Lord is with you, Good Success is yours and a Glorious Future is Guaranteed - *Joshua 1:8, Colossians 1:27*


*(5)* When the Lord is with you, Eternity in Christ Jesus is assured.


*What are our Responsibilities?*


*(1)* When the Lord is with us, we must not offend Him. We must hate what He hates and love what He loves - *Hebrews 1:9*


*(2)* When He is with us, we must yield to His Leading.


*(3)* We must cherish His Presence with a Praiseful Life - *Psalms 22:3*


*(4)* We must be Strong and of a Good Courage - *Joshua 1:5-6*


*(5)* We must speak of Him to the world - *Matthew 28:18-20*


*In our Anchor Text above, His Presence with us is anchored on the Premise that we will undertake His Commission.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please let me never offend You all the days of my Life.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
