*BEYOND OUR CRY FOR MERCY*

SCRIPTURE: And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus - *Mark 10:50*


We can see from the Scriptures, that those who cried for Mercy in the Bible, were able to get the attention of our Lord Jesus Christ. 


The ten men that were lepers cried for Mercy, though they did not come close to Him because of their leprosy, they got His attention.  He spoke to them and they were all cleansed - *Luke 17:11-14*


Two blind men followed Jesus crying for Mercy, they got His attention, He touched their eyes and they received their sight - *Matthew 9:27-30*


Blind Bartimeus who was a beggar, cried for Mercy and Jesus stood still for him - *Mark 10:46-49*


*Therefore, our cry for Mercy will command Divine Attention because our God is Merciful and His Mercy will move Him to attend to the afflicted.*


The Bible says Jesus saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion towards them and healed their sick - *Matthew 14:14*


*But, for us to continuously enjoy His Mercy that endures forever, we must allow our cry for Mercy to Propel Positive actions in us.* 


In the case of blind Bartimeus, his cry for Mercy Propelled him to cast away his garment - *Mark 10:50*


The ten men that were lepers, received Mercy and this Propelled them to obey Christ - *Luke 17:11-14*


The two blind men also received Mercy and this Propelled them to live by Faith - *Mark 9:27-30*

 

*Therefore, beyond our cry for Mercy, Positive and Godly Actions, must be Propelled in us, such as following Jesus in the way - *Mark.l 10:52*


*Crying for Mercy without a Godly response in us, can cause the door of Mercy opened to us, to be shut.*


May this never be our Portion - Amen.


*Prayer:*

Father, Please let my cry for Mercy Produce Godliness in me, so that the door of Mercy opened for me is not shut in Jesus Christ Name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father.
