*BUY THE TRUTH AND SELL IT NOT*

SCRIPTURE: Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also Wisdom and instruction and understanding - *Proverbs 23:23* 


It is a dangerous thing to buy lies.


The Host of the Syrians heard the noise of Chariots, the noise of Horses and the noise of a great Host and said one to another, the king of Israel has gone to hire the kings of Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to come upon us - *2 Kings 7:6*


This was not true. Since the Israelites left Egpyt, they have had nothing to do with the Kings of Egypt, neither did they have anything in common with the Kings of the Hittites.


Believing that the children of Isreal, had asked for help from these kings, they were afraid; they fled and left their Possessions behind.


*Therefore, in the very least, these things will happen when a man settles with lies:*


*(1)* Lies will enslave a man. 


The Syrians were afraid; fear has torment and consequently, it enslaves - *1 John 4:18*


*(2)* Lies will make a man to run when no one is Pursuing. 


The Bible says, the wicked flee when no man Pursues - *Proverbs 28:1*


*(3)* Lies will dispossess a man of his Possessions. 


The Bible says, but upon mount Zion there shall be Deliverance and there shall be Holiness and the house of Jacob shall Possess their Possessions - *Obadiah 1:17*


*Deliverance is key to Possessing Possessions, while enslavement will dispossess a man of his Possessions.*


*Therefore, because of the adverse effect of lies to fulfilling one's Destiny in life, we are admonished by the wisest king who ever lived, to buy the truth and sell it not.*


The Bible says, ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free - *John 8:32*


*When you buy the truth and retain it by not selling, you are made free, bold and strong, to Possess and retain your Possessions.*


*Wisdom demands that on every issue we need to diligently enquire, search out for the Truth so that we don't believe lies and enslave ourselves.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me not to hastily Jump into conclusion on all issues but to diligently search out the Truth in Jesus Christ Name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father.
