*UPGRADE HIS PROMISE INTO A COVENANT*

SCRIPTURE: Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of Heaven, and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son — blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the Heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall Possess the gate of their enemies -

*Genesis 22:15‭-‬17*


God is a Covenant Keeper. 


He said, my Covenant will I not break nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips - *Psalms 89:34*


The Bible says, He hath remembered His Covenant forever, the Word He commanded to a thousand Generations - *Psalms 105:8*


The Bible also says He will ever be mindful of His Covenant - *Psalms 111:5*


God is highly committed to His Covenants, He will ever be Mindful of them.


In every Covenant, there is man's responsibility and God's. Once man has done his, God is committed to His Part of the Covenant.


*Therefore, operating only in the realm of Promises does not commit God to Perform.*


God appeared to Abraham and made seven Promises unto him and asked him to take three steps - *Genesis 12:1-3* 


Our text shows God appeared to him the second time and God made a Covenant with him, because he had not withheld his only son.


*There is something we need to do to commit God to Perform.*


*It is not enough to claim His Promises, it is important to receive a revelation of what to do, to commit God to Perform.*


The Bible says, the secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him: and He will shew them His Covenant - *Psalms 25:14*


The fear of the Lord is important to upgrade His Promises into a Covenant. 


He will reveal His Covenant unto those who fear Him.


*Prayer:*

Father, Please Plant Your fear in my heart, that I may get a revelation of Your Covenant in Jesus Christ Name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
