*WALKING WITH GOD (Part 1)*

SCRIPTURE: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: - *Genesis‬ ‭5:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬*


God is Invisible while man is Visible - *1 Timothy 1:17*


Yet we read of men who were Visible walking with the Invisible God.


Enoch walked with God - *Genesis 5:22*

Noah walked with God - *Genesis 6:9*


Therefore, it is Possible for men to walk with God.


*Working for God is not the same as Walking with God.* 


One can work for God without walking with Him - *1 Samuel 3:1,7*


*What do we need to walk with God?*


*(1)* Faith


• Without Faith, it is impossible to walk with God - *Hebrews 11:6*


• We are Repositioned from Darkness to Light through Faith - *Ephesians 2:8*


• We must keep Walking by Faith - *Hebrews 10:38*


Faith turns Promises to Realities - *Hebrews 11:33; Romans 1:17*


*(2)* Love


• God is Love - Walking in Love is the evidence that we are walking with Him - *1 John 4:8; John 13:35*


*(3)* Courage


• Courage is doing something daring even in the face of Intimidation, Unworthiness, rejection, and the likes. 


*Courage is needed to face difficult tasks without quitting.*


• God told Joshua repeatedly to be Courageous - *Joshua 1:6, 7,9*


*Timidity puts God far away from us.*


• Courage is highly rewarding in our walk with God - *Hebrews 10:35*


*We need a Lion's Heart to get a Lion's Share.*


*(4)* Humility


• We must walk humbly with God - *Micah 7:8*


Humility helps to empty one of self and empowers us to be filled with God - *John 3:30*


*(5)* Contentment


• True Contentment is not having everything but being satisfied with everything you have.


• Contentment with Godliness is a Great Gain - *1 Timothy 6:6*


Walking with God is Peaceful and Joyful. *Romans 14:17*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please, I want to walk with you for a Peaceful and Joyful Journey in Life.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
