*WHEN GOD'S MERCY IS AT WORK*

SCRIPTURE: And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have Mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David - *Matthew‬ ‭20:30‬ ‭KJV‬‬*

The Story of two blind men sitting by the highway tells what happens when God's Mercy is at work - *Matthew 20:30-34*

When they heard that it was Jesus, they cried, saying, 'have Mercy on us O Lord, thou Son of David.'

*The following among others happened:*

*(1)* Jesus Stood Still and asked them to be called.

• Mercy Provokes Set Time for a Miracle - *Psalms 102:13*

*(2)* The two blind men were among the crowd, but they were the only one called.

• Mercy will Single Out a man for favour - *Romans 9:16*

*(3)* The blind men were sitting by the highway side. 

The highway was not meant for men to sit. It was meant for Vehicular Movements. 

So the blind men were wrongly Positioned. 

But when they received the Mercy of God, they began to follow Jesus.

*Mercy makes a man to be Divinely Repositioned* - *Psalms 40:1-3*

*(4)* Jesus asked the blind men what they wanted, and they said, 'that our eyes might be opened.' 

Jesus touched their eyes, and they received their sight.

*When mercy is at work, desires are granted.*

*(5)* When they came to Jesus, He touched their eyes. 

*Mercy Provokes a Divine Touch.*

*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, remember your Multitude of tender Mercies and remember me.
