*GOD OF BREAKTHROUGHS*

SCRIPTURE: And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez - *Genesis 38:29*


The delivery of Tamar illustrates the God of Breakthroughs at work. She was Pregnant with a set of twins, one of them brought out his hand and the midwife tied a scarlet round the hand in order to identify him as the firstborn.

But, the one with the scarlet thread withdrew his hand and the other child came out. And the nurse asked how has thou broken forth? The breach be upon thee and named him Pharez. The child with a scarlet thread came out later and was named Zarah.


Pharez broke through.


*Let us consider the Stages of breaking through?*


*(1)* The stage of road block.


• Zarah with his hand blocked the only way out. He wasn't coming out but only interested in blocking the road.


Every efforts by Pharez at this Stage will yield no result. 


*This explains why People:*


*(a)* Struggles with Nothing to show


*(b)* Labour in vain 


*(c)* Sow much and reap little or Nothing.


*(2)* Stage of hand withdrawal by Zarah.


• This Stage is orchestrated by the God of Breakthroughs.


*Let us take a look at these Scriptures:*


*(a)* Genesis 31:29 - God took away the Power to hurt Jacob. 


Similarly, God took away the Zarah's Power from blocking Pharez.


*(b)* Isaiah 22:22; Revelation 3:7


*(c)* 1 Samuel 2:9


*(3)* Stage of breaking through.


• Sudden and Unexplainable Development. 


The midwife wondered and said how come you broke forth? - *Psalms 126:1-2*


*Prayer:*

Father, everyone that needs to withdraw for my Breakthroughs to come, let them withdraw in Jesus Christ Name.
