LOVE IN THE AIR | RE- INVENT YOURSELF | TAKES IT EASY

*LOVE IN THE AIR | RE- INVENT YOURSELF | TAKES IT EASY*

David met Jane for the first time at a party. He was immediately attracted to her shapely figure and the way her hair tumbled over her eyes when she laughed.Jane, on the other hand, was hooked by his deep brown eyes and his witty conversation.

This seems like a case of love at first sight. They were inseparable for the next three weeks, until Jane received a devastating call from her former boy friend.

She reached out to David in the hope that she would be comforted, but David, feeling confused and threatened by the thought of her ex, responded coldly. That night, their love was murdered.

*Is it the person you are in love with or the image?* That's the question our teenagers should answer.

Physical attractiveness is what makes two people notice each other in the first place, but when it blinds you to the realities of life, how enduring can such love be?

Parents, it's time to educate our young ones about love again. It's that period of the year when people celebrate love.

Don't turn away your eyes; be their Val and take advantage of the moment to paint the right picture of love for them.

*RE- INVENT YOURSELF*

Life happens, and when it does, it happens unannounced. When life happens, it looks like you don't even know where to go from where you are.

The loss of a loved one, a good job, health issues, maybe an accident, or what have you?

The impact of these happenings varies and manifests in diverse forms.

Our response to it makes all the difference. But honestly, it can sometimes be overwhelming.

These happenings come with change. It forced a lot of change on people, but the challenge is that people do not want to align with the change that comes with it. So they are working against the tide, which complicates issues for them.

Your best bet when life happens is to *RE-INVENT* yourself. Change your approach to fit the new normal.

Get a skill, work from home, join a partnership, start a new business, and give expression to that longtime dream in your heart.

You might also need to change your location. Employ new staff, delegate, or even develop or increase your capacity.

Don't give in to the circumstances of life. Take charge. *Re - inventing* is your best bet.

*TAKES IT EASY*

Life happens to all at different times, in different ways, and unannounced. That doesn't make you a weakling.

Take it easy, and be patient with yourself. Remember, you're setting an antecedent for the next generation. Your children! Yes, your children.

You see, God, in his wisdom, created the family as a preparatory class for us all in the school of life.

It's in the family that we learn how to manage the issues of life. The younger generation looks up to the older ones to glean wisdom on how to deal.

Don't try to rush through things to avoid more blunders. Don't put yourself under undue pressure. I know it's challenging, but would you rather *Win the battle and lose the War*?

I know of a businessman caught in the wind of the moment too. Prior to this time, things had been up, but then here he is.

His wife helped him secure a loan so he could bounce back, but he was in a hurry; he needed to get it done and over with. In his bid to quickly get back, he made an investment blunder that has landed them in another mess that has impacted his family greatly. No, thanks to impatience.

*There are no quick fixes in life; life is a process.*.
*So, take it easy*
