*WHO CAN WITHSTAND HIS ANGER?*

SCRIPTURE: Who can Stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him - *Nahum 1:6*


King Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury when the three Hebrew men Shadrach Meshach and Abednego refused to bow before the image he made. They were cast into the fiery furnace but they came out unhurt. They withstood and survived the anger of the king - *Daniel 3:21-27*


But, no one can withstand the anger of the Lord.


When His anger came upon Pharaoh and his Hosts, they were drowned in the Red Sea.


When the Company of Korah, Dathan and Abiram Provoked the Lord, they died an uncommon death for the Earth opened her mouth and swallowed them alive - *Number 16:27-32*


When the anger of the Lord fell on king Herod, he was eaten of worms and he gave up the Ghost - *Acts 12:23*


The Bible says, it is a fearful thing to fall into the Hands of the Living God - *Hebrews 10:31*


Who can withstand the anger of God who is a Consuming Fire and Fire goes before Him and burns up his enemies - *Hebrews 12:29; Psalms 97:3*


Who can abide in the fierceness of His anger? The answer is: no one!


*Therefore, Wisdom demands that we keep away from whatever will Provoke Him to anger.*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, may my words and actions never Provoke You to anger.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
