*SLOTHFULNESS: WAY OUT*

SCRIPTURE: Not Slothful in Business; fervent in Spirit; serving the Lord - *Romans 12:11*


*There is no Spirit filled Slothful Christian, and Slothfulness makes our Services Unacceptable to God.* 


*Therefore, we must put away Slothfulness.*


*The way out is detailed as follows:*


*(1)* Acknowledge and confess your Slothfulness - *Proverbs 28:13*


*(2)* Make a Decision to turn away - *Proverbs 28:13*


*(3)* Be Visionary - *Proverbs 29:18*


• A Lack of Vision causes Slothfulness - *Proverbs 19:15*


*(4)* Engage your hand in a Rewarding Enterprise - *Proverbs 24:30-31; Proverbs 19:24*


*(5)* Withdraw from the Company of the Slothful - *2 Thessalonians 3:6; Psalms 1:1; Proverbs 13:20*


*(6)* Have a Daily List of things to do. 


*(7)* Routinely examine your Activities - *2 Corinthians 13:5*


• Fervency in Spirit requires that we put away Slothfulness - *Romans 12:11*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to be fervent in Spirit, serving the Lord in Jesus Christ Name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father.
