*HE BECAME POOR FOR OUR RICHES*

SCRIPTURE: For ye know the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became Poor, that ye through His Poverty might be Rich - *2 Corinthians 8:9*

In the beginning, our Lord Jesus Christ was, and by Him were all things made. There was Nothing made that was not made by Him - *John 1:1-3*

The Earth is the Lord's and the Fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein - *Psalms 24:1*

The Silver is His, and the Gold is His - *Haggai 2:8*

*Jesus Christ is Rich, He was not Poor; but He became Poor for us.*

*Let us consider His Poverty?*

*(1)* He was Poor by birth. 

• Born in a Manger - *Luke 2:7*

• He was wrapped in swaddling Clothes - *Luke 2:7*

• Born to a Carpenter - *Matthew 13:54-55*

*(2)* On the cross

• He was hungry.

• He was thirsty - *John 19:28*

• He was naked - *Matthew 27:28*

The Good News is that He became Poor so that we might be Rich - *2 Corinthians 8:9*

*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please let Poverty be a Stranger in my family.
