*HUMBLE YOURSELF OUT OF AFFLICTION*

SCRIPTURE: And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers - *‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭33:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬*


*The Story of Manasseh, the king, teaches us that we can humble ourselves out of affliction.*


Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all - *Psalms 34:19*


*The force of Humility can trigger a man's Deliverance.*


Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err and do things worse than the heathens. 


The Lord spoke to him, but he wouldn't listen. Then the Lord caused the hosts of Assyria to come upon him. He was bound and taken to Babylon. 


While he was in affliction, Manasseh sought the Lord in his affliction and humbled himself.


When the Lord saw that he had humbled himself, he set him free and restored him to his Kingdom in Jerusalem. 


*Manasseh humbled himself out of his affliction.* 


*We can humble ourselves out of Pain, Sickness, Barrenness, and Troubles.*


*Let's take a look at Humility in affliction:*


*(1)* Seeking the Lord heartily.


*(2)* Acknowledging the Supremacy of the Lord.


*(3)* Recognising of one's sins and errors and turning away - *1 Kings 21:27-29*


*(4)* Willingness to be taught of the Lord - *Psalms 25:9*


*(5)* Submission to God's Will.


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please help me to humble myself in affliction that I may receive your Deliverance in Jesus Christ Name.
