*COMFORT: AN ENEMY OF ENLARGEMENT*

SCRIPTURE: Thou Preparest a Table before me in the Presence of mine Enemies: Thou anointest my head with Oil; my cup runneth over - *‭Psalm 23:5 KJV‬*


*The Testimony of the Giant Killer, David, teaches us that comfort is an enemy of Enlargement.*


David stated that the Lord Prepared a Table before him in the Presence of his Enemies. God anointed his head with Oil, and his cup runs over.


*While he was Feasting in the Presence of his Enemy, God anointed his head with Oil, and his cup was full and Overflowing, showing the readiness of the Lord to keep filling his cup with Oil.*


God was expecting him to bring more cups to receive the flowing Oil just as the Widow of one of the Sons of the Prophets was advised to do by Elisha - *2 Kings 4:1-7*


*David watched the Oil waisting away because he was busy Feasting in the Presence of his Enemy.*


*Whenever we are too comfortable where we are, the Resources that are made available for our Enlargement will be wasting away.*


*For this reason, we discover that it is easier to grow in a Place of Discomfort than in a Place of Comfort.*


Jacob had a Glorious Change of Story in a Place of Discomfort; the hollow of his thigh was out of Joint - *Genesis 32:24-28*


*A Good Life is the Enemy of a Better Life.*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, help me to take away the Comfort that will deny me of an All-Round Enlargement in Jesus Christ Name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
