*GET HIS ATTENTION - Part 1*

SCRIPTURE: And Jesus stood still, and Commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of Good Comfort, rise; he calleth thee - *Mark 10:49 KJV*


The Earth is the Lord's and the Fullness thereof: the world, and they that dwell theirin - *Psalms 24:1*


God owns the Earth and everyone in it. His eyes therefore runs to and fro the whole Earth - *2 Chronicles 16:9*


God is busy attending to the entire Earth. 


Therefore, it is necessary for anyone who wants anything from Him to get His attention. 


*Making a request from Him without first getting His attention is an exercise in futility.*


In our Anchor Bible Text above, Jesus Christ came to Jericho. As He was going out of Jericho with His Disciples, a great number of People followed Him.


Blind Bartimeus wanted healing from Jesus, but first he got His attention.


He cried out until he got His attention. 


The Bible says Jesus Stood Still.


*Until the Heaven Stands still for us, all our Requests are in vain.*


When the blind Bartimeus got His attention, Jesus asked him what he wanted, and his Request was granted.


*When we get His attention, our Requests will turn to Testimonies.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please engrace me to get Your attention always in Jesus Christ Name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
