*LEAH: A HATED WIFE - Part 2*

SCRIPTURE: And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren - *Genesis 29:31 KJV*

•Leah was not the Choice of Jacob for Marriage, but he was forced to marry her. 

•The Marriage was blessed with six children among who were Levi and Judah.

•Levi is the Progenitor of Priests in Israel, while Judah is the Progenitor of Kings in Israel. 

•Our Lord Jesus Christ is a Product of the Marriage between Jacob and Leah. He is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah - *Revelation 5:5*

•Initially, Leah was Paying attention to the hatred of Jacob. This is reflected in the naming of her first three children. 

•For instance, when  she had the first born, she named him Reuben saying God has looked upon my affliction and my husband will love me - *Genesis 29:32*

•Unfortunately, her husband refused to love her still.

•When she had the fourth child, she named him Judah, saying whether my husband loves me or not, now I will Praise the Lord - *Genesis 29:35*

*This Development teaches us a lot of Lessons including:*

*(1)* The hatred of man does not mean Divine Hatred.

• Jacob hated Leah, but God showed love to her by opening her womb.

*(2)* The hatred of man cannot stop the Plan of God for your Life.

• Jacob hated her, but God brought the Saviour of Mankind through her Lineage.

*(3)* Giving attention to the hatred of man is a waste of time. We should rather give attention to the Love of God.

*(4)* The Fulfillment of your Destiny is between you and God. The hatred of man has no input.

*(5)* Whatever is the feeling of Man towards you, Good or Evil, just keep rejoicing and Praising God - *Habakkuk 3:17-18; Philippians 4:4; Psalms 34:1*

*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to keep rejoicing and Praising You in all situations in Jesus Christ Name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
