*LIGHT CAME BEFORE MAN*

SCRIPTURE: In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth - *Genesis 1:1*


The Earth was without form and void, and Darkness was upon the face of the deep.

And God said, let there be Light, and there was Light - *Genesis 1:3*


*Therefore, Light came before Man.*


*There are implications of Light before Man. Some of which are:*


*(1)* Before the Light, there was no Man.


• Therefore, Light is essential to Man. He cannot survive without Light, and his survival is in the Light.


• Jesus introduced Himself as the Light of the world - *John 8:12; John 9:5*


Therefore, no man can survive without Jesus - His Love, His Mercy, etc, are essential for our survival - *Lamentations 3:22*


• There is Nothing  anyone can do without Him - *John 15:5*


*(2)* With the Light, Man was put in the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it - *Genesis 2:15*


• Man's Purpose is revealed by the Light. 


Without Light, Man's Purpose is concealed. 


Man's Destiny is revealed only through the Light. 


• Embracing Jesus, who is the Light of the world, is the only way to discover and fulfilk Destiny.


• Apostle Paul did not know he was separated from his Mother's womb to be a Preacher to the heathen until he embraced the Light - *Galatians 1:15-16*


*(3)* With the Light, Man was commanded to be Fruitful - *Genesis 1:28*


• Fruitlessness in every area of Life requires Light.


Great efforts without the Light will bear no fruit - *Luke 5:1-7*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please, I don't want to live a Purposeless Life. Let my Light not turn Darkness in Jesus Christ Name.
