SCRIPTURE: A New Heart is given by God at Spiritual Birth, and it makes a Man a New Creature. Thereafter, the responsibility lies on us to diligently keep our Heart attractive to God.


It is important for us to remind ourselves that men look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the Heart - *1 Samuel 16:7*


*How do we keep our Hearts attractive to God?*


*(1)* By Daily Study of the Word - *2 Timothy 2:15*


*(2)* Constant Meditation on the Word - *Joshua 1:8*


*(3)* Learning from Men of Faith - *Proverbs 27:17*


*(4)* Constant Prayer - *1 Thessalonians 5:17*


*(5)* Praying often in the Spirit - *Judges 1:20*


*(6)* Rebuke Evil Thoughts - *Matthew 4:10*


*(7)* Think Righteously - *Philippians 4:8*


These are essential to diligently keep the New Heart Clean and receptive to the Holy Spirit.


*Prayer:*

Father, in Jesus' Name, Please Purge my Heart of all Filthiness that I may Stand before You.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
