*RESTORE MY GLORY - Part 1*

SCRIPTURE: For thou hast made him a little lower than the Angels, And hast crowned him with Glory and Honour - *Psalm 8:5 KJV*

Glory is important to Man. 

When God created Man, He crowned him with Glory and Honour.

Restoration of Glory is the cry of someone whose Glory has departed. 

The wife of Phinehas declared that the Glory has departed - *1 Samuel 4:19-21*

Job said he hath stripped me of my Glory - *Job 19:9*

*Certain things are associated with departed Glory including:*

*(1)* Shame

Shame is the opposite of Glory - *Proverbd 3:35; Psalms 4:2*

*Therefore, Restoration of Glory means an end to Shame.*

*(2)* Reproach 

Reproach is what men see in one's Life and ask where his God is?

When God turned the Barrenness of Rachel into Fruitfulness, she said God has taken away my Reproach - *Genesis 30:23*

*Glory takes away Reproach.*

*(3)* Defeat

The Philistines defeated the children of Israel. 

The wife of Phinehas said the Glory has departed.

*Defeat is associated with departed Glory.*

*Restoration of Glory will turn defeat into Victory.*

*(4)* Humiliation

When the Glory of God departed from Samson, the Philistines humiliated him. They made him a Sport for them.

Because of the Humiliation, Samson Preferred Death to Living - *Judges 16:25-30*

*Glory puts an end to Humiliation in one's Life.*

*(5)* Sorrow

The wife of Phinehas was filled with sorrow even when she had just delivered a baby because her husband and her father in law died, and the Ark of the Covenant was taken away by the Philistines. 

*But, Glory turns Sorrow into Joy.*

*Prayer:*

Father, in Jesus Name, Please let your Glory radiate around me and my family in Jesus Christ.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
