*WHEN SUCCESS IS A FAILURE*

SCRIPTURE: But what things were Gain to me, those I counted Loss for Christ - *Philippians 3:7 KJV*


*Success is the Opposite of Failure, but Success can become Failure if it is in the wrong direction.* 


*Therefore, another definition of Failure is Success in the wrong direction.*


Saul of Tarsus had PhD in Law with Specialisation in Church Persecution. He was Succeeding in his endeavour because he was in Charge when Stephen was Stoned to death - *Acts 7:58; Acts 8:1-3*


But, while he was on his way to Damascus doing what he Specialised in, he was arrested by the Lord, and he became Born Again - *Acts 9:1-6*


The direction of his endeavour Changed. 


He began to spread the Gospel he was working against.


He later wrote that the things that were Gain to him, those he counted as Loss for Christ.


He began to Succeed in the right direction. 


*Therefore, Success indeed is to Succeed in the direction the Lord wants you to go.*


Our Lord Jesus told us the Parable of the Rich Fool who laid up riches for himself but was not rich toward God - *Luke 12:16-21*


The Man in the Parable was rich in the wrong direction. Hence, he was a Fool. 


*It is Foolishness to Succeed or be rich in the wrong direction.*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I don't want to be a Fool. Let me not Labour in the wrong direction in Jesus Christ Name.
