*BARTIMEUS: MAN WITHOUT LIGHT*

SCRIPTURE: And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with His Disciples and a great number of People, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timæus, sat by the highway side begging - *Mark 10:46 KJV*


A Man without eyes and a Man who has eyes but can't see are in the same Class of living without Light.


*The following were obvious in the Life of Bartimeus, who lived without Light:*


*(1)* He took the wrong and dangerous decisions to sit by the highway side. 


• Highways are meant for diverse means of Transportation.


• When a Man lives without Light, his steps or decisions will be faulty and dangerous. 


• The Bible says the steps of a Good Man (Man with Light) are ordered by the Lord - *Psalm 37:23*


*(2)* He sat  by the highway. 


• To sit means to make no Movement or to be Stagnant.


Living without Light is living without Movement. 


There's no rising for a Man without Light - *Exodus 10:22-23; Isaiah 60:1*


*(3)* Jesus called him, but he couldn't hear.


• A Man without Light cannot hear God.


• God called Samuel, and he ran to Eli because he had no Light - *1 Samuel 3:4-8*


*(4)* He was begging to live.


• A Man without Light will be on the wrong side of Destiny.


• It is not in our Destiny to beg to live. We are destined to lend to many Nations - *Deuteronomy 28:12*


*(5)* He cast away his Garment when he was going to Jesus.


• The dirty Garment he cast away was the reason for the absence of Light in his Life - *2 Peter 2:4*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, let there be Light in my Life in Jesus Christ Name.
