*BREAKING LOOSE FROM HEREDITARY  PUNISHMENTS*

SCRIPTURE: What mean ye, that ye use this Proverb concerning the Land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge? *[3]* As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this Proverb in Israel - *Ezekiel 18:2-3 KJV*


Before Jesus came, when fathers sinned, the Punishment and Curse were visted upon the children. 


But it is not the Will of God that a Man should suffer for sins he has not committed.


Hence, He said the Soul that sins shall die - *Ezekiel 18:4*


Therefore, we can break loose from the Punishments arising from the sins of our fathers.


*What do we do to break loose?*


*(1)* By being Genuinely Born Again - *2 Corinthians 5:17*


*(2)* By Loving the Lord. 


• God will visit the sins of fathers upon the children among those who hate Him  - *Exodus 20:5*


Those who love the Lord will be exempted.


*(3)* By Studying the evil attitude of our fathers and avoiding them. 


Jotham was the son of King Uzziah reigned after his father, and he studied the evil attitude of his father and avoided them - *2 Chronicles 27:2*


*What are the benefits of breaking loose?*


*(1)* The evil Pattern in our Lineage will not manifest in us and our children. 


*(2)* Whatever has stopped Men before us will not stop us and our children.


*(3)* One will attain a height higher than one's father. 


*(4)* One will end Well and Strong. 


*(5)* One's Greatest Height will be the least for his children.


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, help me to go farther than my fathers in Life in Jesus Christ Name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father.
