          *PEACE WITHIN*

SCRIPTURE: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have Peace. In the world ye shall have Tribulation: but be of Good Cheer; I have overcome the world - *John 16:33 KJV*


Our Lord Jesus and His Disciples were crossing to the other side, and there was a great Storm of wind against the ship. It was so serious that the Disciples thought that they were going to Perish. At the peak of their worries, they woke Jesus up, and He rebuked the wind and said, 'Peace, be Still'. The wind ceased, and there was a great calm - *Mark 4:35-41*


Jesus said "Peace, be Still"; and there was a great calm. 


Why didn't the Disciples say the same, considering the fact that they are created in the Image of God and expected to function like Jesus?


The answer lies in their reaction to the Storm. 


When the Storm came, they were troubled and worried. They had no Peace within them. Hence, they couldn't speak out what they didn't have. 


*Jesus spoke Peace to the Storm because He is Peace.*


*This means if there is no Peace within you, there can't be Peace around you.*


*Therefore, to have Peace within you, in addition to having the Prince of Peace in your boat, His Words must remain in us.* 


*This is the Message of our Lord Jesus in our Anchor Bible Text.*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please let your Peace remain in me so that there will be Peace around me in Jesus Christ Name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father.
