*THE CHILDREN OF EPHRAIM - Part 2*

SCRIPTURE: The children of Ephraim, being armed and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle - *Psalm 78:9 KJV*


The favour of the Lord lifted Ephraim into Prominence and Relevance, but the children could not sustain the height because they lacked the Strength to battle.


They had the weapons to battle but turned back in the day of battle. 


*Many Believers are like the children of Ephraim with many weapons of war, such as the Word of God, the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, etc. Still, they always turn back in the day of battle.*


*The weapons of battle work only when we have the Strength to battle.*


*How do we build the Strength for battle in Life?*


*(1)* Knowledge of the Lord - *Daniel 11:32; 2 Timothy 1:12*


• Knowing about Him is not Sufficient, but knowing Him is the answer - *Philippians 3:10*


*(2)* Constantly waiting on God - *Isaiah 40:28‐31; Psalms 84:11*


*(3)* Refusal to fear in the face of battle - *Deuteronomy 20:1; 1 Samuel 17:32*


*(4)* Righteous Living - *Proverbs 28:1; Psalms 78:9‐10*


*(5)* Thankfulness 


The Grateful increases in Strength - *Jeremiah 30:19*


*(6)* Addiction to the Word - *Joshua 1:1-8; Proverbs 24:5; Acts 20:32*


*(7)* Identifying with Men of Strength - *Proverbs 27:17*


*The Strength of battle is important to maintain and sustain Relevance in every facet of Life.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please let me not fail in the day of Adversity. Help me in Jesus Christ Name.

Wisdom is a critical requirement for profitable life in time and in eternity.  ●Ecclesiastes 10:10 makes it clear that wisdom is profitable to direct.  ●So, it is not possible to experience a profitable life in this world and in the world to come without wisdom. Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father.
