*THE EVILS OF DWELLING IN DARKNESS - Part 2*

SCRIPTURE: So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. 23 They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings - *Exodus 10:22-23 NKJV*

Light is Good, and Darkness is Evil.

The Land of Egypt was covered with Darkness for three days. No Man saw another, and neither did anyone rise from where he was.

*What are the implications of living in Darkness?*

*(1)* A Man's True Identity is covered in Darkness. 

• Laban Presented Leah to Jacob as Rachel in the Night - *Genesis 29:23-25*

This happened because Real Identity is covered in Darkness. 

• Who God says a Man is is covered in Darkness, a Winner becomes a Loser in Darkness. 

*(2)* Potentials are covered in Darkness.

 

• Giftings and Talents are buried in Darkness - *Matthew 25:14-18*

*(3)* Good Works are covered in Darkness and therefore go unrewarded -

 *Esther 2:21-23; Esther 3:1*

• Mordecai's Good Works were covered, and Haman's works were rewarded instead.

*(4)* God's Glory upon a Man is covered, resulting in Shame, defeat, Failure, and the likes + *Psalms 8:4-5; Proverbs 3:3-5*

*(5)* Rising is impossible in Darkness. 

• Stagnation becomes a New Normal in Darkness. 

*The Evil of Darkness ends when Light comes.*

*Prayer*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, let there be Light in my Life and let an end come to the Evils of dwelling in Darkness in Jesus Christ Name.
