SCRIPTURE: If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say - *Psalm 124:1 KJV*


The Psalmist took a look at a situation when God was not involved in the affairs of a Man and then Penned for us what would have been the outcome.


One of the scenarios he Pictured for us is that the anger of Men against us, whether rightly or wrongly, would have swallowed us. 


The anger of Men would have abruptly ended our lives.


This calls to remembrance the anger of Ahithophel against David because of the evil deeds of David against Uriah, the Hittite - *1 Samuel 11*


The anger of Ahithophel made him switch over to the side of Absalom, who rose against David, his father, to overthrow him as the King of Israel.


David survived the rebellion of his son against him and the evil plot of Ahithophel because of God's intervention.


*At such a time as this, we should be grateful to God that by His Mercy, the anger of Men did not swallow us.*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Thank You for your Mercy that delivered me from the anger of Men in Jesus Christ Name.
