FROM LEODOBAR TO THE PALACE - Part 2
SEED OF TRANSFORMATION DAILY DEVOTIONAL
*FROM LEODOBAR TO THE PALACE - (Part 2)*
*By Pastor E O Gabriel 27 January 2025:Share*
SCRIPTURE: And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake? - *2 Samuel 9:1*
The Lord took Mephibosheth from Leodobar and ushered him into the Palace, from the Place of no importance, to the to the Place of relevance.
In the first Part of this Message, we saw that the Lord covered his errors while taking him through this Journey.
*There are some other things the Lord did:*
*(1)* He ended shame in his life.
Mephibosheth was born in the Palace, he was a Prince - Therefore Leodobar was not a Place for him to live. It was the tragedy that struck in his family, that led him to Leodobar.
God ended the shame in his life by taking him out of Leodobar.
*When the Lord is taking a man through a Journey, all forms of shame will end in his life because He is the Father of Glory* - *Ephesians 1:17*
*(2)* He enjoyed restoration.
*Restoration is simply bringing back every single thing that was lost.*
Mephibosheth was brought back to where he used to be, he was restored to his Position - *Joel 2:25*
*(3)* He enjoyed Change of Levels from Glory to Glory; his levels kept changing until he entered the Palace.
*(4)* He enjoyed a Change of Allocation.
When he got to the Palace, David said to him, you will eat at my table continually - Meaning henceforth, he began to eat Royal bread in Place of bread from Leodobar.
*(5)* He enjoyed favour.
At Leodobar, he worked to eat, he laboured to eat.
But, in the Palace, servants were commanded to till the ground for him.
*The Big Question we need to address is: What qualified Mephibosheth for this Glorious Journey from Leodobar to the Palace?*
*In our Anchor Text above, David wanted anyone in the Lineage of Saul to show him kindness for Jonathan's sake. Mephibosheth qualified because he was Jonathan's son.*
*Therefore, anyone who has given his life to Jesus Christ, is qualified for the kindness of God that will take a man from Leodobar to the Palace.*
*Prayer:*
Father, Please let your kindness take me from where I am to where I ought to be in Jesus Christ Name.
