*THE SOURCE OF THE BLESSING OR THE BLESSING?*

SCRIPTURE: And when they had brought their Ships to Land, they forsook all, and followed him - *Luke 5:11 KJV*


Peter toiled all Night and caught nothing, but Jesus came into his boat, and he had a Net Breaking and Boat Sinking Catch. 


This teaches us that a time will come in our lives when we will have to choose between the Source of the Blessing and the Blessings.


Peter suddenly moved from failure to unexplainable Breakthroughs. 


When the boat was at the sea shore, he left all the Blessings and followed Jesus, who is the Source of the Blessings.


*Whenever there is a Need to choose between the Giver of the Blessing and the Blessings, we must choose the former for the following reasons, among others:*


*(1)* The Giver is from above, and whoever is from above is above all - *John 3:31*


*(2)* The Giver is the Source of the Blessings - *James 1:17*


Therefore, Blessings that are separated from the Source will soon dry up.


*(3)* The Source is Unchanging, but the Blessings are Subject to Change - *Malachi 3:6*


The Blessings can dry up, but the Source cannot.


Therefore, the Source is Reliable and Dependable while the Blessings are not.


*(4)* The Source of the Blessing is a Sufficient One - *Genesis 17:1*


But no Blessings are Sufficient for our Need.


*(4)* Jesus can satisfy, but Blessings can not - *John 4:13-14*


In Conclusion, Nothing must separate us from God, our Source. 


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please help me to remain hooked to you forever in Jesus Christ Name.
