*HUSHAI: DEFEATING EVIL COUNSELS*

SCRIPTURE: And Hushai said unto Absalom, The counsel that Ahithophel hath given is not good at this time - *2 Samuel 17:7*


Absalom staged a coup against David his father, stealing the hearts of the men of Israel - *2 Samuel 15:6*


One of the men that crossed over to Absalom's side, was Ahithophel, David's Chief Counsellor. 


Whenever he gave counsel, it was as one who was the Oracle of God - *2 Samuel 16:23*


*David was very uncomfortable that Ahithophel was on Absalom's side, because he was a man of Wisdom.*


Therefore, David Prayed that God will defeat the counsel of Ahithophel. 


*God also raised a man called Hushai, to join Absalom and raise  counsels that will defeat the counsel of Ahithophel.*


*Hushai's counsel led to the death of Ahithophel and the collapse of the coup orchestrated by Absalom.*


*Therefore, the role of Hushai was to defeat the counsel of Ahithophel and bring down evil conspiracies.*


*May the Lord raise men in the likes of Hushai, for our families and Nations in Jesus Name.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please don't allow evil conspiracies to Prevail over my family and my Nation, raise an Hushai for me in Jesus Christ Name.
