*MAKE HAY WHILE THE SUNSHINE*

SCRIPTURE: It is Good for a Man to bear the yoke in his Youth - *Lamentations 3:27*

*An English Proverb says; Make hay while the sun shines - This means make use of an opportunity, in the Season of that opportunity.*

The Bible says: To everything there is a Season and a time to every Purpose under the Heaven - *Ecclesiastes 3:1*

God led the children of Israel out of Egypt unto the Promised Land, He parted the Red Sea, led them through and God drowned Pharaoh and his hosts in the sea. 

The Israelites journeyed through wilderness and the Lord did many Mighty Miracles for them in the wilderness.

When they were to cross over to the Promised Land, Moses sent Spies into the land. 

Majority of the Spies came back with reports that  melted the hearts of the People, forgetting the Wonders God did for them in time Past. 

*The Isrealites concluded that God could not take them through the wilderness and into the Promised Land.*

*The anger of God rose against them and the Lord said what He heard them say say, that He would do* - *Numbers 14:28*

*Thereafter, God told Moses that the Generation of Israelites that left Egypt and saw His Wonderful Works, yet doubted His ability to lead them into the Land, would not enter the Promised Land except Caleb and Joshua.*

*Shortly after the Lord's Word, less than twenty four hours later, the People rose up to say they were ready to enter into the Land. But, the Lord replied that it was too late.*

*When a door of opportunity Opens, it will not be open forever!*

The Bible says seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near - *Isaiah 55:6*.

*This tells us that there is a time He is near and a time He will be far.*

*Calling unto Him when He is far, when the Opened has been Shut, will be too late!*

*Ecclesiastes 12:1 says:* *Remember now thy Creator in the days of the Youth, when the evil days come not.*

There is a time to Plant and time to Harvest. 

He who gathers in Summer is a Wise Son; He who sleeps in Harvest is  a Son who causes Shame - *Proverbs 10:5*

*It is Good for a Young Man to bear his yoke while he is Young.*

*There are things we can do while we are Young which we will no longer be able to do, when we are old.*

When David was Young, he could go out to war but when he was of age, his People told him not to go out to war again.

*Whatever we have the Strength to accomplish now, we must rise up to it - The opportunity may not Open forever.*

Father, Please help me not to waste my Youthful Years in Jesus Christ Name.
