*PETER, JAMES AND JOHN - Part 1*

SCRIPTURE: And after six days, Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high Mountain apart - *Matthew 17:1 KJV*


Peter, James, and John were three Disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ who were closer to Him than the rest of the Disciples. 


When He was to raise the daughter of Jairus back to Life, He suffered no Man to follow him save Peter, James and John - *Mark 5:37*


When He was also to transfigure, He took only Peter, James, and John with Him - *Matthew 17:1*


The Bible says God is no respecter of Persons - *Acts 10:34*


*If the Lord has no respect for Persons, how come He Preferred the three to others?*


The Bible says that in every Nation, he who fears Him and works Righteousness is accepted by Him - *Acts 10:35*


*The three Disciples were close to Him because of what they represented.* 


Peter represented Faith - *Luke 5:5; Matthew 14:28-29*


James represented Wisdom - *James 1:5; James 3:15,17*


And John represented Love - *1 John 4:8; 1 John 2:15*


*The Choice of Peter, James, and John by Jesus teaches us that we need to walk and grow in Faith, Wisdom, and Love for Landmark Exploits in every areas of Life.*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please give me the Grace to walk and grow in Faith, Wisdom, and Love all the days of my Life in Jesus Christ Name.
