*PETER, JAMES, AND JOHN -  Part 2*

SCRIPTURE: And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an High Mountain apart - *Matthew 17:1 KJV*


We did mention that Peter represented Faith, James represented Wisdom, and  John represented Love.


*Each time the three of them are mentioned, Peter comes first, James comes second while John comes last - This is the right order.*


*Faith comes before the two others for the following reasons:*


*(1)* We are saved by Grace through Faith* *Ephesians 2:8*


We begin our Christian race through Faith, not through Wisdom, nor Love.


Whatever is not of Faith is sin - *Romans 14:23* 


Where there is no Faith, sin is Present - *1 Corinthians 15:7*


Without Faith, it is impossible to Please God - *Hebrews 11:6*


We access God's Promises through Faith - *Hebrews 11:33*


*(2)* Faith gives us access to Wisdom and not the other way round - *James 1:5-6*


The Holy Scriptures make us Wise unto Salvation through Faith, which is Christ Jesus - *2 Timothy 3:15*


*(3)* God is Love - *1 John 4:8*


Without Faith, it is impossible to Please God - *Hebrews 11:6*


*Therefore, Love that is not rooted in Faith is not Genuine.* 


Paul said Christ may dwell in your Hearts by Faith; that ye, being rooted and Grounded in Love - *Ephesians 3:17*


*Faith enables a Man to be rooted and Grounded in Love.*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please let my Faith in You grow to access your Wisdom and be rooted and Grounded in Love in Jesus Christ Name.
