*PETER, JAMES, AND JOHN - Part 4*

SCRIPTURE: And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high Mountain apart - *Matthew 17:1 KJV*


*Peter represents Faith, James represents Wisdom, and John represents Love.*


*Wherever the three men are mentioned, Peter comes first, then James, then John.*


The implication is that we must add Wisdom to our Faith and then add Love to our Wisdom. 


This means Love must be Faith-Based to be Profitable. Love that is not Faith-Based will fade out. 


The Bible says that because Iniquity will abound, the Love of many will wax cold - *Matthew 24:12*


Love that is not rooted in Faith is Lust.


This explains the Love of Amnon for Tamar, Absalom's sister. When Amnon had raped Tamar, his love for her turned to exceeding hatred - *2 Samuel 13:1-15*


The Bible says the hatred wherewith he hated her was greater than the love wherewith he had loved her - *2 Samuel 13:15*


In addition, Love must have its  root in Wisdom if it will thrive. 


The love of Samson for Delilah lacked Wisdom and cut short his Life and Ministry.


The bible says Samson loved Delilah - *Judges 16:4*


Delilah told him to tell her the Secret of his Power that he might be afflicted - *Judges 16:6*


But because Samson's love lacked Wisdom, he couldn't discern Delilah's mission, and his Ministry ended abruptly. He suffered an untimely death.


*Therefore, for Love to be Profitable, it must be Faith-Based and rooted in Wisdom.*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please let my Love for Men be Faith-Based and rooted in Wisdom in Jesus Christ Name.
