*SHUT THE DOOR AGAINST THE DEVIL*

SCRIPTURE: I will no longer talk much with you, for the Ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me -

*John 14:30*


Our Lord Jesus was led of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil, and He overcame.


The Bible says when the devil had finished his temptation, he departed from him for a Season - *Luke 4:13*


The devil departed from him for a Season, not Permanently. 


*The devil does not leave a man Permanently.*


When the devil came again, Jesus had shut the door against him.


He said in our text above, the Prince of this world came and found nothing in me.


As long as we live, the devil will keep coming to us but we can shut the door against him. 


The Bible says give no Place to the devil - *Ephesians 4:27*


When we do not shut our door against the devil, our lives become a fertile Ground for evil to thrive.


*Shutting the door against the devil includes doing away with malice, unforgiveness,  bitterness, rewarding Good for evil, wrath, hatred, maliciousness, Greed, fornication, envy and every form of wickedness.*


*Prayer*

Father, Please help me to shut the door against the devil so that my life will not become a fertile ground for evil to thrive in Jesus Christ Name.
