*DON'T NEGOTIATE DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS*

SCRIPTURE: Now therefore, I Pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the Lord will say unto me more -

*Numbers 22:19*


God hath Spoken once; twice have I heard  

this; that Power belongs unto God - *Psalms 62:11*


Once God Speaks, we must obey. We do not need to understand why He has given us the instruction but to trust Him and obey. 


*Negotiating God's instructions can be costly.*


This is clearly illustrated in Balaam's story - The Messengers of Balak, king of Moab, came to Balaam asking him to come and curse the children of Israel.


He sought the face of God for direction and God Spoke to him, instructing him not to go with the Messengers and not to curse the children of Israel.


He relayed the Message to the Messangers of the king and they reported back to Balak, their king. 


But, Balak raised more Honourable men with better incentives to woo Balaam to come and curse the children of Israel.


Balaam went to the Lord the second time to negotiate His earlier instruction.


*The following were the Outcomes of his Negotiation:*


(1) He walked out of the Perfect Will of God. 


God expressed His Permissible Will to him by asking him to go - *Numbers 22:20*


(2) God stood as an Adversary unto him. *Numbers 22:22*


(3) His Way was blocked by the Angel of God - *Numbers 22:26*


(4) Strange and Unpleasant happenings attended his Way - An Ass was speaking as Human - *Numbers 22:28*


(5) The Ass that used to obey him disobeyed him - *Numbers 22:25*


*It is "Dangerous Thing" trying to Negotiate Divine Instructions - All the above would have been averted if he had stayed in the God's Perfect Will,  in spite of Balak's  increased efforts to do otherwise.*


*Key Note: Negotiating Divine Instruction will walk you out of the Perfect Will of God for your life.*

Father, Please help me never to Negotiate your Perfect Will for my life in Jesus Christ Name.
