ENDURING JOY

          *ENDURING JOY*

SCRIPTURE: Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the Spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven - *Luke 10:20*


*In Luke 10:1-20,*  Jesus sent the seventy out to Preach and cast out devils. They went and returned with Joy because through them the Holy Spirit healed the sick and demons were subject to them.


Jesus later taught them that they should rejoice not because demons were subject to them but in the truth that their names are written in Heaven.


*Jesus taught them the secret of enduring Joy.*


Building our Joy on things on Earth, is to build our Joy on things that will not endure.  


If you are Joyful because you have a lucrative Job, what happens if you are laid off or you retire - the Joy will cease. 


*1 Corinthians 4:18,* says things that are seen are Temporal while things not seen are Eternal. 


One of the seventy that returned with Joy was Judas Iscariot whose Joy turned into an eternal sorrow.


*Therefore, the secret of Enduring Joy is to build it around the Salvation of our Souls and the  Heavenly retention of our names.*


Every sacrifice we make to register and maintain our names in Heaven is the secret of Enduring Joy.


In the Beatitudes, Jesus said blessed (Happy, Joyful) are they which are Persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.


Our Greatest Joy should be that our names are written in Heaven and that one day we shall Eternally be with the One in whose Presence is Fullness of Joy - *Psalms 16:11*


*Key Note:* 


*The secret of Enduring Joy is to build it around the Heavenly retention of our names.*


*Prayer:*

Father, help me to make sacrifices that will help me stand firm to the end in Jesus Christ Name.
